Description

Winter waves crash through a gap between rocks at Le Jaonnet, a secluded bay on the south coast of Guernsey. I rarely see another person here during the winter – the only time of year this part of the island receives direct light at sunset. Regardless of the weather conditions, I get a special feeling of ‘wildness’ at Le Jaonnet and despite its small footprint, I always seem to be able to find something to photograph there.
