Description
The area around a small abandoned quarry on L’Ancresse Common fascinates me, not least these rock terraces that step into the sea below it. Tide height is crucial to photographing this location well, as is the position of the sun as the scene is often cast into shadow from the rock on the left. A long shutter speed helps add some dreaminess to the water.
