Description

This photo of a small islet off Grandes Rocques on Guernsey’s west coast is made up of six upright frames stitched together into a horizontal panorama. The island, accessible at low tide, is dominated by two granite towers surrounded by small patches of grass, and not much else. This sequence was shot after sunset to avoid over-exposure in the brightest part of the sky while retaining a beautiful glow on the foreground rocks, resulting in a panoramic scene with stunning contrast, warmth and depth.
