Fort Grey, known locally as ‘The Cup and Saucer’, sits inside Rocquaine Bay on the West coast of Guernsey. A rising tide begins to engulf the slipway while soft pastel colours in the dusk sky balance the night-time illuminations of the fort itself. Blues and oranges dominate this calm panoramic seascape and a long shutter speed smoothed out the already calm water, rendering the moored fishing boats as obscure dark shapes.
