You don’t have to be a model to be a LeadingLight model. I’m searching for people to photograph and for a limited time you’ll get the final images free!

Having spent most of the past few years traveling and even more working a full-time job, I’m now re-establishing myself as a photographer in Guernsey - but it’s not easy and I need your help. I need to fill this website with high-quality photos to promote my work and for that, I need people to model for me.

As much as I’d love to, I can’t afford to pay you at this time but I will give you the final high-resolution images to use as you wish - you could print them up, post them online or even start a modelling portfolio - it’s not cash, but I promise you’ll look great. I’m not trying to rip anyone off, I just need some help to get things going and once work requests starts coming in, I hope I could turn to you and pay you for your time in future.

Forget I said ‘model’ - I’ve noticed that word scares people - it suggests I’m looking for Kate Moss. I’m not… she definitely won’t do it for free! If you’ve done some modelling work before, that’s awesome, but it’s not a requirement. The main thing is that you feel confident enough to be photographed and be loose enough to experiment with various poses, which I will work with you on - it’s a joint effort. It doesn’t matter if you’re a natural show-off or quite shy, male or female, you just need to be willing. Shoots will be relaxed at various suitable locations and I hope, fun too. I’m happy to offer transport, refreshments etc during shoots.

If you’re a budding stylist or makeup artist, I’d love to speak with you about potential collaboration. Again, I can’t pay right now but you’ll also get amazing free photos of your work for your portfolio and if things work out, I’d hope to be able to pay you in future.
