Leading lights aid marine navigation - when aligned, they mark a safe passage at night. It has nothing to do with photography or video, except that I brainstormed business names with ‘light’ as a keyword - I was a keen boater at the time too… Now I’m stuck with it!

About Dan Guerin

Dan Guerin is a photographer, videographer, editor, filmmaker & video producer based in Guernsey, Channel Islands. His passion for photography began in his teens, continuing to this day. Once a press photographer, he's now a full-time freelance photographer & filmmaker. Known for his beautiful landscape photography, Dan's photos have been published internationally & his prints adorn walls around the world.

Dan trained & worked with leading agencies abroad, including Thailand in underwater videography & South Africa in wildlife documentary filmmaking. He now provides an extensive range of photographic & video production services directly to clients & works regularly with other producers, events companies, broadcasters & agencies in Guernsey & beyond.

  • An uncharacteristic summer storm created huge waves at Grandes Rocques on Guernsey's west coast. Uniform grey cloud-cover broke just in time for sunset, which briefly bathed this dramatic scene in warm evening sunlight. Shortly after, and somewhat expectedly, a giant wave crashed over the rocks to my left, completely soaking both me and my camera, which needed a careful washdown after. I get wet so you don't have to!
