Sometimes a scene is arranged in such a way that it just photographs well, such as this group of rocks near Pulias on the west coast of Guernsey. When the tide is just right, the water surrounding the rocks can be exploited with a long shutter speed to create a dreamy seascape. I often wouldn’t photograph under such flat lighting conditions but on this occasion the overall blue tone of the scene and the long exposure created a very pleasant, calming photo.
