Driving to a different location, I couldn’t resist stopping to photograph this dramatic scene, overlooking the Prevote Observation Tower on Guernsey’s south coast cliffs. Heavy showers were the order of the day and it wasn’t long before I was cold and wet. Rays of sunshine pierced the heavy sky, lighting the centre of an otherwise dark scene and creating a brief moment of extreme contrast and drama.
