Another from the square-crop series of Herm scenery, photographed during the daytime in winter. Light rain was falling at the time of shooting in conditions where I would not normally consider using the camera. However in this case, the low-contrast flat light accentuated the greens and oranges in the scene, where the foreground cradles an offshore rock and leads the eye across the water towards Sark, under a bleak cloudy sky.
